Southampton will take on Wolverhampton for the second time in just a matter of days on Sunday and hope to pick up 3 points and move up the table.

The Saints put in a dominating performance on Thursday and will want to repeat that performance. They dominated the ball and created a ton of chances with a direct style of attack that was refreshing to see.

Wolves when want to bounce back and get back on track this season. Let us see how both teams can win this match.

How Southampton Will Win

The Saints will need to play exactly the same way they did in the first match. They played Ralph’s tactics exactly how they wanted and created a number of chances.

Nathan Redmond’s runs in behind the defense cause havoc and he could have easily had 2 goals if he took his chances. I suspect Che Adams will start up top on Sunday and Redmond will start on the bench but Che could learn a thing or two from what Redmond did on Sunday and replicate it.

The Southampton performance was refreshing to watch and I am looking forward to seeing if they can do it again. They are nearly healthy again and they could start picking up some momentum.

How Wolves Will Win

The good thing about losing to a team and playing them again in just days is that they gameplan is still fresh in your mind and you can play against it.

They will make sure to not be beat the same way twice. Nuno is too good of a manager for that to happen and he will want to prove that to his supporters.

Wolves may try to sit back a little deeper this match and try to hit on the counter. They let up too many chances and let the Southampton strikers get in behind too easily. I think we could see traore start and he will use his pace to give the Saints fits. Whoever scores first may be the one who wins this match.
