Southampton vs Chelsea: Premier League – Three Key Moments

Ings Concedes a Penalty Saints Pay the Price
Danny Ings will certainly have many a pleasant memory in a Saints shirt. Since signing from Liverpool he has been one of the South coast side’s leading lights.
Unfortunately, the number nine will not want this lunchtime kickoff against the blues to live long in his mind. The typically prolific striker received very little service and couldn’t do much to affect the game in a positive sense.
Sadly, Ings did leave his mark on proceedings.
Just after the break Chelsea work a quick corner into the box, as Callum Hudson-Odoi feeds Mason Mount. Ings attempts to avert potential danger but only succeeds in taking out his man.
Southampton have had some questionable calls made against them in recent weeks, but they can have very little complaint about this one.
