Southampton suffered a terrible defeat on Tuesday when they lost 3-0 to Leeds and also lost Oriol Romeu in the process due to an ankle injury.

Ralph Hasenhuttl is quoted simply saying, “Not good. His ankle is not looking good.” when asked about Romeu. This leaves the Saints with very very limited options when it comes to options in the midfield next match.

Ibrahima Diallo is still injured and that means we may see Alex Jankowitz return to the starting lineup after his Man U incident.

Ralph Hasenhuttl is not very happy with the injuries and thinks the referees could do a better job.

“We lose games. We lose players nearly every game with an injury. It was not even a yellow card, I mean, I don’t want to discuss the referee but we are very nice at the moment. They can kick us. We get yellow cards. They can hurt us and we are injured. This is the moment. So they are not very enjoyable performances we’ve shown,” Ralph said after the match.

You can not really blame the Austrian for being frustrated. Injury issues have plagued the team all season long and now it seems like every decision is going against them as well. It is not all smiles on the South Coast at the moment as the team needs to figure out how to get some points and move away from the relegation zone.

Southampton will take on Everton this coming match and it will take an all-around team effort to get a result.
