Southampton are taking on a tough Everton team on Monday and will look to stop the skid they find themselves on recently.

The first two times these two squads met the Saints ended up coming out on top and took all 3 points.

Now, they are in free fall and the Toffees are looking to take advantage of a battered and bruised Saints side. Everton will be getting a boost getting two of their players back from injury and Southampton will have not have Romeu or Minamino.

It is going to be tough for the Saints but let us take a look how they and Everton could win this match.

How Everton Will Win

Everton are playing good football and the moment and they will want to keep their momentum alive against the Saints. The Toffees will be getting midfielder Allan back as well as striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

They will not have to deviate from their gameplan much as the Saints are not playing particularly good football at the moment and they will believe they can dominate.

I suspect they will try and control the game but the Saints will press them and they will have to be prepared for that. If Everton score first I like their chances of taking all three points.

How Southampton Will Win

Well, it is simple, they need to put the ball in the back of the net for starters and need to play the full match like they did the first half of the Leeds one. They came out in that game on fire and looked the much better side and really should have scored at least a goal.

Ralph has somethings he needs to figure out with this team and it is like he is trying to build the plane while it is flying. At this point, if the team can comfortably survive relegation I think that will be a success.

The first step in that is playing Everton tough and possibly getting a result. They pressed so well against Leeds but they just could not score and that needs to change. They just have to finish their chances and make teams pay for their turnovers.
