Southampton: Four-part plan Saints must move towards in the summer

Southampton’s recent run of bad form has seen them slip towards the bottom end of the Premier League table and leave behind previous lofty ambitions for this season.

With nine games of 2020/21 remaining, they now sit just seven points above the relegation zone and will be limping over the safety line of 40 points.

There is the potential for a push in the latter stages of the FA Cup but fans are already looking hopefully towards next season with things not going well at this point.

With the future in mind, here is a look at what needs to happen this summer to ensure Ralph Hasenhuttl and his team can reach their full potential:
