Che Adams managed a first-half equalizer, but it was not enough to pull Saints out of their ongoing slump. SFC briefly rallied in the first half but by and large failed to create many chances, and lacked the creative spark.

Ralph Hasenhüttl’s men have become known for an energetic high pressing style, though it now appears the team can’t maintain a level of quality for 90 minutes. Recent contests have seen the Hampshire outfit play attractive football in the first half before fading away in the second.
