Yan Valery

How is he doing?

Valery joined Birmingham City in January in a bid to get some valuable first-team minutes under his belt. He has made seven appearances for the Blues so far but this has included only two starts, meaning that things have not gone according to plan.

Saints future?

Valery will surely be coming back to provide cover to Kyle Walker-Peters next season but will need more minutes between now and the end of 2020/21 to help develop his game. Birmingham’s change of manager may or may not work in his favour.
