Southampton battled their way back from an early 2-0 deficit to secure a huge Premier League win over Burnley on Sunday and potentially their top-flight status for another season.

Goals from Stuart Armstrong, Danny Ings and Nathan Redmond completed a brilliant comeback and moved Saints onto 36 points for the season. Other results yesterday also mean that they are 10 points clear of the bottom three with eight games remaining.

Now perhaps we will start to see the players return to their early season form once again. The return of Theo Walcott and Danny Ings to the starting line-up certainly made it look like the fluid setup that had brought so many positive results between August and Christmas.

Things may also be a lot more enjoyable for fans now. An FA Cup Semi-Final is just around the corner and a build towards next season can now begin.
