Nathan Redmond Is the Comeback King

Until this latest action the attacker had only scored one goal this league term. Although Redmond has worked hard the likes of Theo Walcott and Takumi Minamino have out shone their colleague.

The FA cup clash with Bournemouth helped to re-establish Redmond as a viable threat to nervous opponents. Previously the former Norwich man used his pace to get in on goal, but this time around good positioning served him well.

Ings gets into the penalty area and lashes it towards goal. Pope’s excellent diving stop can only find Theo Walcott. The Everton loan signing displays excellent football IQ in deciding to pass rather than shoot.

The number 32 sees Redmond arriving and makes no mistake in picking his man out. Redmond is unerring with his connection and confidently puts it away.

A devastating move that not only overwhelmed the opposition but was a brilliant way to mark a rare come back.
