Southampton: Club has an eye on midfielder Harry Winks
Southampton are poised for a busy summer transfer period this year and one player they are looking at is Tottenham player Harry Winks.
According to a new report from football insider, Harry Winks seems to be on the outs as Tottenham will look to replace him this summer so he will be made available.
One of the clubs that have shown early interest is Southampton who believe he would be a welcomed addition to the midfield that has lacked serious depth since Romeu went out with a broken ankle a few months ago.
One thing has become blatantly obvious this season and that is change needs to happen and new faces need to brought in. The club has just simply underperformed for the large part of the season now and it may be time to give the club a facelift.
That will start this summer by bringing in new players for Ralph to work with and bring some competition to training for those starting spots.
I believe bringing in a player like Winks will have a positive impact on the club. He has experience playing in European competition and will bring some competition to the midfield.
He may not come in and be a starter but he will provide cover and has shown he can play in the Premier League.
Ralph needs to be backed this summer or it could end very poorly next year. The club will survive relegation most likely this season but if we keep this same group of players it will not end well.
