Southampton take on Crystal Palace today in a match that could see the Saints climb all the way up to 14th on the League table.

Southampton, safe from relegation, are sitting in 17th and even though they will not be relegated they need to finish higher than 17th plain and simple.

Today, they have a golden opportunity to do help their chances of having a respectable finish with a win agaisnt Crystal Palace today. Let us take a look how both teams could win.

How Southampton Will Win

Southampton have just been poor for months now. The performances have gotten slightly better but they will want to finish the season strong.

Today they will play a side that is also not playing well and have a chance to move up several spots on the table. Ralph will have to get the lads ready to play today and motivate them to finish on a strong note and ride that momentum into the offseason.

I think they will get the job done and will score 2 goals. I have been calling for Tella to score for weeks now and I think he will finally do it today.

How Crystal Palace Will Win

It will largely depend on how motivated the players are today. They are middle of the table, safe from relegation and really have nothing to play for. They could show up or they could just go through the motions and hope for a draw.

If they do decide to come out and play they will know they are playing a team that is low on confidence in Southampton and will belive they can win this game comfortably.

I think this match will come down to which team can score first. I think that will be the defining blow of the match.

Predicted Score

Southampton 3-0 Crystal Palace

I think the Saints show up today at home and look the best they have for some time now.
