Southampton are losing Ryan Bertrand this summer and it looks like he will be going to Leicester City to play football next season.

According to a new report from football insider, Ryan Bertrand will be signing with Leicester City this summer as a replacement for Fuchs.

Bertrand made 240 appearances for Southampton and scored 8 goals for the club and added 20 assists to that total. He will be sorely missed by the club and was a fan favorite by many.

Multiple clubs were after the Left-back, specifically Arsenal, but it looks like the Foxes will be the winners of the Bertrand sweepstakes.

This leaves Southampton very thin at left-back and they will absolutely need to bring in a few fresh faces this summer to cover their losses.

The most unfortunate thing about losing Bertrand is that he is leaving for free and the Saints will not be getting money for his departure. Funds will be tight this summer but they will have to make due with what they have.

I think we will see about 5 or so new players brought in this summer and a number of them will be leaving as well. It is going to be a fresh Southampton and I am excited to see what Ralph can do with a new set of players.

What I hope, is that the club will get their business down quickly so the new player can get assimilated quickly and learn how Ralph wants them to play.

We will continue to keep you updated on all things Southampton and all transfer ins and outs.
