Four flexible full-backs who have been linked to Southampton recently

Southampton are looking for full-back signings this summer as Ralph Hasenhuttl prepares for the 2021/22 season.

The club are reportedly close to signing Romain Perraud from Stade Brest in France and that deal is expected to be confirmed in July, but Saints may need two or three full-back signings in all to provide squad depth.

Kyle Walker-Peters was the only recognised senior full-back available to them at times last season and the situation has been emphasised more by the imminent departure of Ryan Bertrand on a free transfer.

Players will have to be added in other areas of the team to provide stable foundations and cover injury problems for 2021/22 but defensive areas seem to be a priority. As always, signings are likely to be young players with significant potential who can grow in their careers with Saints.
