The future of Southampton striker Danny Ings will continue to be one of the main talking points of this off-season.

He has refused/or is still stalling on signing a new contract with Saints and his current deal with the club expires next summer. This has prompted strong rumours linking him to many clubs amid his desire to have one last crack at Champions League football.

Interestingly, recent words from Adam Blackmore of BBC Radio Solent suggested that all options were still open. If an offer does not come from one of the very top clubs, it is even still a possibility that Ings might stay for at least one season.

His goals are equal in value to a sizeable transfer fee and Saints will certainly still be seeing him as a key man for the 2021/22 season.
