It has been no secret that Southampton striker Danny Ings would be one of Tottenham’s transfer targets this summer with Harry Kane likely leaving.

According to a new report from Eurosport, Spurs are ready to start looking for Harry Kane’s replacement and they believe it to be Danny Ings.

The report states that Southampton value the striker at around £20m but the first offer from Tottenham will likely be below that mark.

Danny Ings is open to a move but wants to play Champions League football and has made it clear that he would not want to play for a club not in CL.

The Danny Ings transfer saga could become very interesting over the next month as teams become more desperate to sign a striker of his caliber. I do not think it will be the end of the world if the club sells Ings however I will be upset to see him go.

If the club can hold off the first couple of offers I believe they will be able to get more than £20m for the striker then they can use that money wisely on a solid replacement.

The season is a month away and I feel as if there is still a good bit of business to be done. I will be watching those closely as we know how important Danny Ings is to our squad.

There are still a few players I would like the club to get off their books and seems as though Mario Lemina will be the next out of the door.
