Highest goalscorer

Daniel:  Adam Armstrong

Hard to see anyone topping Armstrong this season, Che Adams could be a huge part of our attack but I don’t see him scoring goals as consistently as I can see Armstrong. Wouldn’t be shocked to see him net 13 or 14 over the season.

Joe: Adam Armstrong

After some back and forth Southampton finally got there man. With 28 goals for his former employers last season Armstrong appears a confident finisher in front of goal. The jump to the Premier League shouldn’t prove to be too great of a hurdle for the striker to manage.

Erik: Adam Armstrong

Hasenhuttl said he would be happy with four players scoring in double-digits and I honestly believe that is how he has built his team.  Not relying on a single striker to score would be a breath of fresh air.  It is going to be a tight race to the end, but I think Adam Armstrong edges Che Adams 13 goals to 11.

Alastair: Che Adams

Life post-Ings could be tough initially but with Adams, Armstrong, Tella, and Walcott, the Southampton supporters will be hopeful that there will be enough goals to keep them up. My feeling is that Che Adams will sneak the most goals with 11 or 12 league goals.

Marc: Adam Armstrong

Again, I have submitted this answer after watching us against Everton. What I saw was the perfect Ings replacement who made the same sort of movement and caused constant problems for the opposition in a first-half where he also netted a great goal.

Having Tella and A. Armstrong gives two perfect options alongside the creator in Che Adams.
