Adam Armstrong

Wearing the number 9 and replacing Ings is no small task and what does Armstrong do? He Goes and scores in his debut for the club. It was a lovely finish and gave the Saints the lead for at least a bit in the opener.

He would tell you he should have added a second on Sunday against United but he was denied by David De Gea who produced a nice save.

He seems to have gotten comfortable rather quickly at the club and links up well with Che Adams. I think he is going to produce some exciting moments this season.
