Southampton fought and earned a point against a tough West Ham team and now turn their focus to defending champions Manchester City.

The Saints have been playing very well defensively and that is allowing them to get draws against these tougher sides. It has been a team effort but there are five individuals who have stood out among the rest.

Let us take a look at the Saints’ top 5 players right now.

Number 5

Mohamed Elyounoussi

Mo came into this season with a chip on his shoulder and wanted to prove to everyone that he can play at the top level. And so far he has done that. He has been impressive in his three matches so far this season and looks like he will continue to get playtime.

He is scoring for club and country at the moment and it has been a real joy to watch how much he has been enjoying playing football.

He has been a breath of fresh air and hope he can continue this run of form.
