FIFA 22 has been released for those who ordered the Ultimate Edition and fans and players have seen the Southampton player ratings.

For Southampton, their highest-rated player is James Ward-Prowse with an 81 overall. That is a very respectable card for a player like JWP and many would say it is a fair rating for him.

For many others, it was a tough showing for their starting rating and a lot of Saint fans would argue they deserve to be higher overall. Let us take a look at 3 players who deserve a higher rating

Tino Livramento – 61ovr

I cannot blame EA too much for givng the 18-year-old a 61 overall because the ratings are based on last years performances. However, when it comes time for the Winter update I think we will see the youngster get a pretty healthy upgrade.

He will likely receive boosts in all 6 stats but I think the largest will be with his dribbling. He is currently rated a 57 in dribbling and I think we will see it go up  to around 70.

With more game time for the ratings team to see Tino Could see his rating move by over 10 or more.

Proposed Rating: 72ovr

Mohammed Salisu: 76ovr

Salisu has been one of the bright spots this season and has been a leader in the back. He is currently only rated a 76 overall in defense and I could easily see that stat moving higher.

His physicallity and defense awareness are off the charts and shows more pace then what his card might suggest. I think he deserves a boost to his pace and defense.

He will be another one who benefits from having more gametime and showing the world what he is capable of.

Proposed Rating: 79ovr

Kyle Walker-Peters: 77ovr

Last year KWP was one of the most consistant players on the squad and really showed his quality throughout the season. He has had a bit of harsh luck with Tino coming in and essentially grabbing the Right-Back position by the throat.

Walker-Peters is overall one of the better players on the team and does everything well from defending, dribbling, and passing. He deserves to be a higher rated player but sometimes EA does not like to give good rating to players on smaller clubs

Proposed Rating: 80ovr
