The Southampton manager has enjoyed a decent run of form and now has been linked with the two vacant positions in the Premier League.

The first of these positions is the Aston Villa job. According to the Telegraph, the club are interested in Ralph Hasenhuttl as well as Steven Gerrard. Villa, sacked their manager after the loss to Southampton on Friday after a very poor run of form.

It did not come as much as a surprise that Villa would be interested in Hasenhuttl but I do not see Ralph being lured away from the club and it would cost Villa a decent amount of money to buy out his contract.

Ralph, has finally had a chance to bring in players that he likes and is building his vision at Southampton. It would be a silly decision in my opinion to leave for a club of similar stature who have been struggling this season.

That brings me to the second team that is interested in Hasenhuttl and that would be Norwich. The Canaries recently sacked their manager even after collecting their first win of the season and seemed to be destined to return to the Championship this season.

Obviously, if Ralph happened to leave for one of these two clubs it would likely be for Aston Villa but I do not see him going anywhere. The Saints have picked up 10 points out of their last 4 matches and have a chance to start climbing the table.

Ralph has talented youngsters to work with and can really leave his mark on the club over these next few seasons and would not throw it away for a lateral move.
