Southampton roll into the international break on the back of another win in the Premier League and will be anxious to get their season back underway.

It was not the most dominate performance against Aston Villa last Friday but they got the job done and picked up the three points.

There were still a number of solid matches from a number of Saint players and it is now time to take a look at the top 5 Saints right now.

Number 5

Oriol Romeu

It does not matter who the Saints are playing Romeu is going to play and play hard. He is a boss in the middle of the park and his maturity and leadership on the pitch helps everyone around him.

Diallo may eventually win his role but for now Romeu has been fantastic and a real reason why the team has been performing well this season.

I look forward to watching him each week.
