Strikers and Substitutes

Armando Broja, Striker – 8

Got his early chance running passed the back line at midfield and killed his angle before his shot.  Spun multiple defenders just two minutes later before hitting the keeper with a strike.  Composure defined his opener, marking his team-leading 5th goal of the season.  Scuffed his chance in the 50th minute from Tino.  Showed his hold up play and directness throughout the contest.  A second goal would have seen him put in the performance of the season, but a great 80 minutes nonetheless.

Che Adams, Striker – 7

Sprung Broja early on a beautiful break just 3 minutes in.  Two good chances 20 minutes in and neither hit frame.

Adam Armstrong, Substitute Striker – N/A

Entered in the 80th for Armando Broja.  Held the ball up once or twice and made a solid tackle at midfield, but that was all.

Mohammed Elyounoussi, Substitute Attacking-Midfielder – N/A

A late change for the hard-working Nathan Tella.  Did not contribute much, but gave away the ball in good position and was called for a foul that was certainly not.
