Southampton attacker Mislav Orsic’s entourage is exploring a potential exit for him just three months after his arrival at St. Mary’s, according to InterLive.it.

The Saints entered the winter transfer window looking for players who could strengthen them immediately in an attempt to boost their hopes of surviving relegation.

Southampton went on to make five new additions to their squad in January, with Orsic being one of them.

The Hampshire-based club signed Orsic from Croatian outfit Dinamo Zagreb for a deal worth £8m.

However, the transfer has not gone according to plan for both parties as the attacker has struggled to make an impact on the Saints.

Orsic has made just five appearances across all competitions for Southampton so far and only one of them has come in the Premier League.

The lack of playing time has cast doubt over the Croatia international’s future at St. Mary’s, although he arrived only three months ago.

According to the aforementioned source, Orsic is in the market again and his entourage is looking for potential destinations.

Inter Milan have now emerged as a potential destination for the former Dinamo Zagreb man, as per the report.

The Serie A giants are looking for a replacement for Joaquin Correa and have been linked with the likes of Marcus Thuram recently.

Apart from Inter, Galatasaray have also been credited with an interest in signing Orsic this summer.

According to the aforementioned report, the Turkish Super Lig giants are the favorites to sign the 30-year-old.

A transfer to Inter has thus been rated as unlikely for him, although he could be a valuable addition to Simone Inzaghi’s side.

Meanwhile, it remains to be seen if Orsic can force his way into Ruben Selles’ plans at Southampton between now and the end of the season.
