Recently, Southampton decided to move on from two players, Bella-Kotchap and Albert Gronbaek, from their future plans. Well, makes sense too, to sideline some unwanted players from their bulky squad.
But, surprisingly, while the decision cuts extra layers in midfield and defence, what about Southampton's attack? The department that needs the most refinement.
Like it or not, but an exodus here must start with winger Kamaldeen Sulemana. Despite regular opportunities, the Saints' heftiest transfer signing hasn't left a mark after a very brief purple patch early this year.
Add this to his uncertain role in Simon Rusk's striker-less tactics, and the wing flank looks in dire need of some departures and new reinforcements.

Recently, journalist Sven Claes confirmed the Saints' interest in a Belgian wonderkid named Adnane Abid for their wing role. As per Claes, Southampton had their scouts in attendance to lookout for the Patro Eisden winger in a match against Cercle Brugge.
Well, though the playoff game ended 5-1 against Abid's side, the 21-year-old's profile could be an interesting one for the Saints.
Having registered 19 goal contributions to his name this season, Abid has the talent to shine at Southampton. Especially, given the Saints' desire to have a natural goalscorer in their wing ranks.
Honestly, Abid isn't and will not be a go-to option for Southampton, which ought to look for some better options. Yet, as compared to other attractive names like Manor Solomon, Abid's easy transfer stance should compel the Saints to keep tabs on him.
It's quite likely that if Southampton march in with a bid for Adnane Abid, he will accept it surely. And that's quite significant for the Saints, given some better options might reject their move.
