Kuryu Matsuki
Following an impressive 2023/24 season at J-League side FC Tokyo, Japan's U23 midfielder Kuryu Matsuki joined Southampton on a four year contract. Similar to Brazilian talent Juan, Kuryu Matsuki was also immediately sent to Goztepe on a loan move in order to give regular playing time to the central midfielder.

Matsuki made his Goztepe debut in a 1-1 away draw with Alanyaspor in the Turkish league. Although Matsuki didn't had a great game as a box-to-box midfielder, Matsuki displayed his wide range of passing abilities in the middle of the park. Matsuki has played four league matches for Stanimir Stoilov's side, all coming as a substitute cameo with the Japan youth international aiming to gradually become a crucial first team player for Goztepe.
