Unlike Juan and Matsuki, Poland international Mateusz Lis joined Southampton in 2022 and went on a permanent transfer to Goztepe. Lis spent the previous season on-loan at the Turkish side and helped them achieve promotion to the first division.
His impressive performances last season were rewarded with a permanent move and Lis re-joined Goztepe as they prepared for the new season. Lis made his first start in the new 2024/25 campaign against Alanyaspor in a 1-1 draw and has managed to register two clean sheets in his five appearances for Stanimir Stoilov's side.
