Southampton are confirmed to be relegated from the Premier League. Although it's too late to mean anything concrete, the Saints hope to pick up at least one more win from the top flight this season during its infamous "everybody eats" section of the campaign where frankly, no team cares anymore.
Ivan Juric has already been told to collect his possessions since he won't manage Southampton in the Championship next season. Despite the Croatian manager's best efforts, the Saints were doomed before he joined and he did nothing to steer us back on the right path.
However, it might not be just Juric who leaves St Marys Stadium this year. Indeed, here are six players who are the likeliest to leave in the summer transfer window...
4 Southampton players who will leave after relegation was confirmed
1. Aaron Ramsdale
In the words of everybody's favourite philosophers (the Backstreet Boys), many said "tell me why" when Aaron Ramsdale joined Southampton last year. The England international, who almost won the Premier League with Arsenal just a few seasons ago, was linked to every top club under the sun, yet he ultimately signed for newly-promoted Southampton.
Perhaps less surprisingly, the shot-stopper has suffered the same fate as each of his teammates; relegation. While Ramsdale isn't above the thought of playing in the second tier of English football, his talent justifies more than this. Therefore, he will be on his way out of St Marys Stadium this summer, and deservedly so.
2. Kyle Walker-Peters
A contender for one of Southampton's best-ever full-backs, it isn't nice to see Kyle Walker-Peters walking out of St Marys Stadium like this. However, it's hardly surprising, and there'll be no bitter feelings towards KWP.
Despite having the opportunity to milk some money from his sale in the January transfer window, the Saints opted to keep Kyle Walker-Peters. At the time, there was hope that we could secure Premier League safety under new management, which might explain the decision. Now, KWP will leave after the club failed to achieve their objectives, through no fault of his own.
3. Taylor Harwood-Bellis
Having made his England breakthrough this season (and scoring, no less), it is impossible to imagine Taylor Harwood-Bellis playing in the Championship next season. In a season of lows for the Saints, the defender has been a diamond in the rough.
Many clubs are showing an interest in signing the former Man City defender. The good news for Southampton, though, is that they are predicted to make some significant profit from his sale which could be reinvested back into the squad.
4. Tyler Dibling
Seems like the most obvious name to throw out there, doesn't it?
Tyler Dibling, like Harwood-Bellis, is one of the standout players in a not-so-standout Southampton team. The young player has improved by leaps and bounds this season and during his rise to the first team, showed an oozing confidence and knowledge of his own high standards.
These are traits which, unfortunately, make Tyler Dibling a wanted asset at top Premier League clubs. While he had the opportunity to join a top club in January, Southampton opted to keep him on the books instead. Now, though, Dibling leaving seems like a foregone conclusion.
