Everton can't help their Tyler Dibling dream and Saints can see them desperate

Everton is attempting a loan move for Jack Grealish after a failed Tyler Dibling operation, which must remind Saints of the Dibling-Jack Grealish comparison claims from last season.

At last, the English division now has the verdict on Tyler Dibling's transfer saga as the player stays at St. Mary's for at least another summer. And barring any last-minute drama, Everton's transfer interest in him can be taken for over, which had recently turned nothing less annoying than Tottenham's adamant Dibling demand in the winter.

While it took the Saints half of their Tottenham demand from Everton to change their Dibling transfer stance, the back and forth in this episode has had the fans more frightened of the starboy's exit.

Well, now we know, these observations about the extreme Everton interest are nothing but true. Otherwise, it makes no sense for what the club is now onto.

If you remember, Tyler Dibling was pulled in a superficial comparison with Man City star Jack Grealish for their similar role and playstyles last year. But while most, including the Saints fans, took the parallel as bogus for Dibling's growing talent, Everton didn't move on from it at all.

Everton turn interest on Jack Grealish after Dibling move collapse

Intriguingly, in a surprise turn of events that no one would have seen coming, Everton now plans a move for Jack Grealish. Recently, Transfer Expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the rumours involving both parties, saying: "During talks today, Everton have asked Man City for Jack Grealish to join on straight loan - no discussions about buy option."

Honestly, most of the Saints fans would still be processing Everton's brainstorming behind this plan, which makes little sense. But anyway, they wouldn't stress much as long as their 19-year-old talent is sidelining established Top Flight stars to be someone's second choice.

What's further interesting? Looking back at the previous comparison, while keeping in mind both their recent form, the balance actually tilts for the better in Dibling's favour. And the fact that he's still far from his prime years is what makes the winger's reality even more insane.

Let's all accept that with the disappointing season end Dibling saw, most of the Saints fans turned their backs on him, instead of supporting him. Touchwood, but gradually, the sensational prodigy is getting his rhythm back.

There's a reason Dibling is being touted as one of the key determiners for the Saints' promotion push. Hopefully, he stands up to the challenge.
