Southampton's previous striker Paul Onuachu has taken off scoring responsibilities in the Turkish top-flight to an awesome start, and a Manchester United regular is set to link up with him soon.

In the second half of July, Southampton fans were with eyes round in astonishment for a Paul Onuachu remark. Estimating the striker's form was always a rigid nut to crack for the Saints but former gaffer Ivan Juric went flawless with a fatigue claim.

Now, the fans didn't overreact to Onuachu's injury impacts but whatever has come for the Nigerian in the Turkish top division has been merry and joyful. He is comfortably swinging goals in the net, and now his team's goal is set to be taken care of well in the vast campaign to follow.

This confidence creeps in only when you have either got Aaron Ramsdale warming up in your defensive half, which Onuachu has seen at St. Mary's. Or, if you have got a €50m asset operating at his best to let transfer the minimum scoring burden over to the forwards.

Onuachu and Onana can combine for a title push at Trabzonspor

The Ramsdale way is less viable for Onuachu but the latter option is about to being realised in the form of a Premier League glovesman. In Fabrizio Romano's words: "Trabzonspor reach verbal agreement with Manchester United to sign Andre Onana on loan."

Being honest, Onana hasn't found a top-notch consistency in England by now, but sweeping out a Red Devils mainstay outside of the Premier League is generally an outstanding piece of business.

And the Saints have destabilized Onuachu's league rivals Galatasaray to a major degree with the Elias Jelert deal.

Thus, the 31-year-old attacker can feel more secure about walking toe-to-toe on the Turkish title run until at least the starting months of the following year.
