Southampton's hat-trick chance may be gone as journalist spells helpless update

Southampton fans would have been glad if one player completed a hat-trick of similar departures but a renowned journalist has less faith in it.

Southampton are giving a new meaning to the beliefs of chasing clubs for superstars who have gained more success than you in the division's hierarchy. And this is when today is the third last day of the market and as many Championship game-days have passed.

Tells every Saint to be glued to the transfers rush hour about to be caused on Sunday, because Southampton's senior-ups are spoiling the fanbase with a lot of ambition. If you are having a struggle drawing perfect lineup sketches in your mind, then, it's better to have a break.

As incomings give room for outgoings and we can't rule that out. Mentioning this will be more than required for Ben Brereton Diaz's name to do rounds in Saints fans' heads.

Though it's unsaid, Diaz knows he has virtually everyone to outwork in the attack for gaining visibility and he isn't an Adam Armstrong who has some striking connections already built up.

Journalist has reasons to be pessimistic on Diaz's loan hat-trick

Obviously, Sheffield United fans will object to what the Southampton faithful perceive of Diaz but them bagging a loan hat-trick for the Chilean may be a hopeless ask.

As quoted by the EFL Analysis, journalist Graeme Bailey has invoked these feelings, saying: "But you'd have thought Sheffield United would have done this sooner if they were keen."

It oddly spells that the 25-year-old and Danny Ings are stranded in unfamiliar destinations, with one raved at St. Mary's but present away as well as the other present here but wowed outside.

Yes, it's an unjumbled situation but proven candidates know how to shine anywhere and let's see how good Ings and Diaz pass this testing campaign.
