It will be far more bustling in terms of outgoings, you imagine, as fringe players such as Cameron Archer try to push through a last-ditch exit. It is being reported that he is set to join Auxerre to link up with former St. Mary's boss Will Still.
Samuel Edozie has taken matters into his own hands by filing a transfer request, with interest from Italy previously reported.

Unlike Cameron Bragg who has made a name for himself at his boyhood club, Jayden Meghoma would depart the South Coast as a wide-eyed youngster, having only made fleeting senior appearances here and there.
Indeed, the 5-foot-9 left-back - who was also previously on the books of Tottenham Hotspur as a youth player - would make just four first team appearances for the Saints, before he was snapped up by Brentford in 2024.
He has the exact same amount of men's appearances next to his name right now for the Bees, but the 20-year-old has impressed out on loan, away from the GTech Community Stadium, with six assists collected last season at Rangers as an attack-minded defender.
The Slough-born starlet looks set for another loan move, right at the death of this hectic window, with reports suggesting he is about to sign for Southampton's mortal South Coast enemy in Portsmouth.

Meghoma won't feel like he's betraying anyone with this loan switch, as he will simply see it as being just another environment where he can develop.
For Saints fans, though, when the latest instalment of the South Coast derby takes place, they'll make their feelings known, with only a select few players brave enough to play for both Pompey and Eckert and Co. over the years.

Meghoma will be preparing himself for a wall of boos when John Mousinho's men travel to St. Mary's next month.
He would love to silence his former side with a goal or an assist in such a fierce clash, with the 20-year-old showing off his attacking prowess out on loan last campaign at Ibrox.
