Southampton showed to their over the moon supporters that football is a team game with their statement 3-2 win at West Ham United.
Indeed, even with Cyle Larin and Flynn Downes being left out through injury, who are two key players usually for Tonda Eckert, the Saints still managed to secure all three points, as everyone in the Saints' cream strip on the London Stadium turf gave their all for the cause.
Kuryu Matsuki would play a crucial role during the breathless victory, as he got the ball rolling with the opening strike.
He is in a purple patch of form at the moment when comes to bagging goals, with the Japan international clearly full of confidence currently.
Matsuki's confident performances
Eckert, back in September, tipped Matsuki to hit ten Championship strikes, come the end of the gruelling season.
He now has three goals next to his name in second tier action this campaign, with two of those goals coming about this month, when travelling to Norwich City and West Ham.
Against the Canaries, Matsuki ended up being the decisive match-winner with his instinctive finish, as the super alert number 27 was quickest to react to the Norwich keeper spilling the initial effort on goal.

When travelling to the London Stadium, he didn't seal the win, but his 2nd minute effort did set the tone for the rest of the bonkers afternoon, as Eckert and Co. sent out a statement to the division that they're not going to fizzle out in the automatic promotion race.
If he keeps going at his pace, he could live up to his manager's wild prediction.
This run of good luck in front of goal should hopefully flow into Southampton's Halloween showdown with Queens Park Rangers, with Matsuki actually scoring the last time the two teams met at St. Mary's.
The goals will hopefully flow into QPR
QPR would visit the South Coast last season when Eckert was starting to get into his groove in the dug-out.
The Saints had won four of their last five Championship clashes heading into the clash with the R's, with a memorable 4-3 victory over Leicester City a standout result from this patch of wins
The West London outfit would feel the full wrath of Eckert's machine, that's for sure, as Julien Stephan's men were humiliated 5-0, as the promotion chasers never looked back, after Finn Azaz broke the deadlock after nine minutes.
Matsuki would help himself to a brace during the one-sided win, wth his opening effort seeing him head home a glorious Leo Scienza corner kick delivery.
This well executed header was actually his first ever league goal for the Saints, with his final output for the 2025/26 season seeing him grab four Championship strikes in total, which is only more than his tally at present.
His second of the night was trademark Matsuki, as he was in the right place at the right time, just like his Carrow Road poacher's effort, to curl a shot past a ropey Joe Walsh, after the aforementioned Scienza couldn't quite beat the opposition keeper.
The one-time FC Tokyo winger would love a repeat of that five-star match when the R's come to St. Mary's on Saturday, as he gets closer and closer to his ten-goal benchmark.
A win won't be handed to them at a canter like last time, however, as QPR are firmly in the playoff picture.
But, Matsuki is far more than just a goalscoring threat.
Indeed, he is also willing to roll his sleeves up, just like the rest of his determined teammates, as evidenced by him winning four duels, and blocking two shots, at the London Stadium.
