3. Oriol Romeu

Arguably the most important player on the squad. Romeu has been nothing short of spectacular this season. He has made our backup center-backs look like superstars with his defensive movement. He has an eye for the game that I have not seen in a very long time and should be a player we try to keep as long as we can.

Romeu is not just a force on the field with his technical ability. The Spaniard is a player that has all the intangible tools for success. His communication, work ethic, and many other abilities has him at one of the best in the Premier League at this position. He will only get better as he gets more comfortable with this lineup. It needs to be a top priority for the Saints to keep this man.
