One of two Portugal internationals to turn out for Southampton this season. The other, Jose Fonte, has moved on to seemingly less green grass at the Olympic Stadium for West Ham United.

Cedric meanwhile has stayed committed to ‘the Southampton way’ and improved remarkably as the season has gone on.

He has been providing a constant threat down the right hand side whilst being defensively solid. A wildcard contender for Fan’s Player? There is no doubt he is rapidly becoming a favorite around St Mary’s.
