Bertrand Traore (Chelsea)

One of the main players I’d love to see Southampton target this summer is Bertrand Traore. Capable of playing down the wing or up top, his versatility would prove an excellent addition to Southampton’s ranks.

Currently on the books at Chelsea, the 21-year-old has spent three of the last four seasons out on loan in the Netherlands, twice for Vitesse and most recently for Ajax.

Despite his tender age and a year in the first team with the London club, Traore has averaged a goal more frequently than every three games so far in his career, thanks to double-figure returns from his past two campaigns in Holland.

Pacey, strong, and with a keen eye for the goal, the Burkina Faso international should be available on loan or even permanently, with the Champions already boasting a large amount of wingers on their books.
