Moussa Dembele (Celtic)
At the start of the SPL Moussa Dembele was only provisionally in the squad having to earn his place in Brendan Rodgers’ system, but boy did he show it. The Celtic goal-threat was a revelation for the Scottish champions who completed their season unbeaten. The skillful attacker would be a wonderful acquisition for the club undoubtedly, and unlike Adama Traore, shows consistency.
This could potentially be signing of the season for Southampton, but its going to cost a few quid. If business is taken care of in the summer properly by Puel, which we are yet to see, then maybe this is on the cards. Southampton fans would certainly relish the opportunity to see Moussa spark electricity at home against the likes of Manchester City and everybody else.
He has a good coach in Brendan Rodgers, but might he be able to seek advice from him before making a long distance swap to the South Coast? When he was at Fulham he looked high-class and has shown that quality at Celtic. It would be another step towards reaching the top level for Dembele in my opinion, and we would actually see Moussa Dembele vs Moussa Dembele (Spurs)!
