Mario Lemina

Playing as a wide centre-midfielder in the narrow diamond that Pellegrino set the Saints up in yesterday, Lemina naturally had less runs at the West Brom defence. However, he still continued to produce impressive stat-lines.

His passing was top drawer but he helped well on defense too, with Ryan Bertrand on his left pushing up at every opportunity, Lemina often helped cover if the Baggies tried to counter.

Despite not offering as much going forward as he has done before, Lemina still played a vital role in the Saints keeping a clean sheet.
