6. The Dane wasn’t as effective today.  Did not have much possession, and took a silly yellow in the first half that forced him to play cautious the rest of the way.. Defensive centre-midfielder. Southampton. PIERRE-EMILE HOJBJERG

Captained the side today, but was subbed off for Lemina with the game turning in Watford’s favor.  He is in there for his leadership, but his football is just not in the same form as last season.. Centre-midfielder. Southampton. STEVEN DAVIS. 5

Two huge goals, taken with poise.  The type of finishing Southampton has been missing all season.  He worked so hard today, and battled through 50/50’s with bigger opponents.  The only reason he didn’t get a 10 is his set piece service was a little off today.  Pretty sure he has earned his starting spot for the rest of the season.. 7.5. Dare I say Tadic was good today?  Well he was, as he floated across the attack.  Most effective when he came in wide position, making defenders literally fall over.  Made a great pass on the second goal to set up JWP.. Attacking-midfielder. Southampton. DUSAN TADIC
