Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

As ever, PEH showed determination and grit last night and in the middle of the park enjoyed a good game for Southampton.

The Dane had a tough time dealing with Wilfred Ndidi who returned from suspension to arguably put in a Man of the Match performance, but his involvement was limited thanks to Hojbjerg’s influence.

Going forward he had one of the best passing accuracies on the pitch, and whilst Tadic had a better percentage the young midfielder completed over twice as many passes as his Serbian teammate did, despite the latter playing the full 90.
