Willian Jose (Real Sociedad)

The Brazilian international could be just the attacking presence that Southampton need, and play a  similar target man role to recently successful forwards Rickie Lambert and Graziano Pelle.

In 2017/18, Jose netted 20 goals for his club Real Sociedad across all competitions. 15 of his strikes came in La Liga and five more in the group stages of the Europa League.

He is well known as a threat in the air but can also contribute with the ball at his feet. Strong passing abilities and long range shooting add to an impressive all-round game for the 26-year-old.

Interest in him was shown by Everton during last summer but no move materialised. He would likely command a club-record fee from the Saints with a sum of between £25m-£30m needed to snap him up.
