Southampton: 3 rumoured Saints transfers from the past week

Jordan Lukaku

Italian publication Il Tempo – summarised in English here by Sports Witness –  have stated that Saints are looking to bring Belgian international Lukaku to England.

The 23-year-old plays for Lazio in Italy and is found marauding up and down the left-flank in a Left-Back or Left-Midfield role.

A move to Southampton or to Leicester City, who also could look to bring him in, could appeal to Lukaku as it would bring him closer to his brother Romelu at Manchester United.

Saints may have a problem to solve at Left-back this summer with Sam McQueen, Matt Targett and Ryan Bertrand all interesting other clubs.
