Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg

The Dane has been immense in the centre of midfield and has really been someone that Saints fans can rely on to give his all in every game.

Playing largely in a two-man partnership with Mario Lemina has seen different roles emerge for both, with Hojbjerg influencing attacks more than his teammate.

He has two goals to his name so far after registering in the win at Crystal Palace and netting with  a thunderous strike against Brighton at St Mary’s.

Some of his most notable stats from the season so far include the highest pass completion rate of any regularly starting Saints player (86.9%), the highest average for amount of passes per game in the squad (68.1) and the highest amount of tackles per game in the squad (2.7).
