Earlier today, it is was announced by the club that Danny Rohl will be joining Southampton as First Team Assistant Manager.
Rohl, was assistant manager under Hasenhuttl at Leipzig during his time there and the duo helped lead the German side to a second place finish in the Bundesliga during the Austrian’s first season in charge.
Rohl, has spent his entire professional coaching career at RB Leipzig. Starting as a Video Analyst for their youth team and climbing the ranks until he was named Assistant Coach for the senior team a few seasons ago.
With the addition of a new assistant that Hasenhuttl knows and has worked with before, and the atmosphere around the club feeling more positive than ever, it is only a matter of time before the results start turning around in-favor for the Saints.

With each passing day the new boss has more time with the club and more time to drill his tactics into their heads.
The culture is already changing and that can be seen on the training ground (and hopefully on the pitch for matches soon). The Intensity has increased greatly and the players are going to be pushed to be in the best physical shape of their playing careers so they will be able to succeed on the pitch and perform at a high level for 90 minutes.
Looking ahead, the Saints have 4 matches left in the month of December. This stretch will not break the Saints and guarantee relegation but it could sure propel them to safety if they manage to start producing positive results.
There is plenty of time left, and a transfer window, for the Saints to save their season and guarantee they will live to see the Premier League for another day, and as supporters we have to put our full trust and backing in Hasenhuttl and the decisions he and his staff will make in the coming months.
