Ryan Borowski – Nathan Redmond

After careful consideration, I determined it would be a crime not to select Nathan Redmond as my Player of the Season. His improvement over the season prior was a joy to behold and it all started in the offseason in Los Angeles.

He knew he had to do something if he wished to continue playing at the top level of football and he took it upon himself to go out and work his tail off improving in the offseason. Right from the very start of the latest campaign it was clear to see the 25-year-old was not the same player he was the season before.

He was full of confidence, never shied away from taking on a defender, and started taking more shots. It took Redmond a little bit to find the back of the net this season, but that did not faze him as he continued to look for opportunities to score and took shots he was not taking last season.

Another offseason of improvement and a full season under Ralph Hasenhuttl, there is no reason why he should not score double digit goals next season and be our player of the season again.
