Sofiane Boufal

According to a report from L’Equipe (cited by Sports Witness), French Ligue 1 side Marseille are interested in signing Boufal.

The Moroccan’s career at with Saints has never really got off the ground and the club could cash in this off-season.

He spent the last campaign on-loan with Celta Vigo in Spain but didn’t hit form their either, meaning Saints may need to take a significant loss on the original £16m paid for him back in 2016.

Ralph Hasenhuttl is said to be wanting to look at all of the players available to him this pre-season and it remains to be seen whether Boufal’s style will suit the Austrian’s pressing play.
