Southampton: Five defenders who have been linked with a summer move to Saints

Adam Webster

Saints were linked with a move for Bristol City’s Webster around three weeks ago.

An exclusive report from TEAMtalk said that they had joined Newcastle, Leicester, Burnley and Watford in showing an interest in the 24-year-old.

They stated that offers of around £12m would be accepted for the 24-year-old after just one season at Ashton Gate.

Webster was a key man for the Robins in 2018/19 after making 47 appearances in all competitions.
