Vegard Forren

‘Played’ is perhaps a stretch when talking about Forren’s spells with both Saints and Brighton.

The Norwegian international signed at St Mary’s in 2013 and at the AMEX Stadium in 2017 but failed to play a senior game at either club.

In his homeland though, he is seen as a high quality defender – both on the domestic and international stage.

His 357 appearances in three spells at Molde FK have been coupled with 33 senior caps for Norway.
