Jimenez vs Saints

Mentioned previously the Mexican international possesses a real threat to any team he plays against; Jimenez’s record in the Premier League is pretty spectacular with a goal involvement of 24 goals in 46 appearances, (15 goals and 9 assists).

The 28-year-old is noted to not have any real weaknesses to his game; and also has a good partnership with Diogo Jota, the pair scored nearly half of Wolves’ goals last campaign at 22 combined. Jimenez could also play his striker counterpart in with his strengths in key passes and passing.

With Jota and Jimenez both likely to start at the weekend; and Saints’ defence being very vulnerable of late, it could spell trouble for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men. Switching to a 5-2-3 or 5-3-2 could help in nullifying the threat that both strikers pose; as well as the counter-attack threat mentioned earlier.
