Counter Attacks

Given the way that Wolves set-up and the strengths that they process; Saints could be at a real threat of conceding from a counter attack.

The Wanderers tend to adopt a 3-5-2 system as defensively they have not been as astound this season compared to last, but with a well-worked 2-0 win in their last fixture against Manchester City two weeks ago; Wolves could be starting to find their stride.

Not to mention both their goals were scored through right-wing-back Adama Traore; who hit City on the counter during the game and in particular later on after the 80th minute mark.

On the other end of the spectrum; Southampton are considered to be very weak at defending counter-attacks and in order to avoid conceding in this phase of play should adopt the same system of 3-5-2 as previously mentioned to help tighten up their defence.
