Cedric Soares

Cedric returned from a loan spell with Inter Milan for this season and looks to have been given a new start in his Saints career by Ralph Hasenhuttl.

According to transfermarkt, the Portuguese’s four-year deal that was signed as an extension in 2016 also comes to an end this summer.

He has actually been preferred to fellow right-back Yan Valery at times this season and could be kept around for a little while longer because of that.

To date, he has made 124 appearances for Saints and was an important part of the squad that qualified for the Europa League group-stages back in the 2015/16 campaign.
